Senior Manager / Senior Software Engineer – Distribution Analytics, Data Products & AI

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; in-office collaboration at least four days per week with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Base salary: $131,700–$181,000 per year, plus potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver data products, analytics solutions, dashboards, and AI-powered applications for Asset Management Distribution.
• Partner with Distribution, Sales, Marketing, National Accounts, Client Service, and Technology stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize data-driven opportunities.
• Build scalable data pipelines, semantic models, analytical data assets, reusable services, APIs, and frameworks.
• Lead business intelligence and executive reporting capabilities covering sales performance, client engagement, marketing effectiveness, AUM growth, and business outcomes.
• Design and implement Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions using enterprise data.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, mentorship, and support for data quality, governance, metadata, and business metric consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7–10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related disciplines, plus 3–5+ years of project management experience.
• Advanced expertise in Python, SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications and RAG solutions with technologies such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Strands, or AgentCore.
• Must have valid United States work authorization and must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in asset management, wealth management, investment management, or financial services.
• Knowledge of asset management distribution, sales, marketing, client, account, investment, and performance data.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, Snowflake Cortex, conversational analytics, AI copilots, agentic AI, MLOps, or responsible AI frameworks.
• AWS Data Engineering, Analytics, AI/ML, or Solution Architect certification.
