Manager, Materials Management (Semiconductor)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; travel required up to 25% of the time

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and manage integrated planning processes covering make-versus-buy decisions, capacity, scheduling, inventory, materials, and costs.
• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to execute build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans.
• Establish best practices for inventory forecasting, purchasing, material control, and inventory accuracy.
• Manage production scheduling, monitor material inventories, track production progress, and resolve inventory discrepancies with Finance.
• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, costs, quality, delivery, and supplier scorecards.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, machining, assembly, and corporate materials teams while managing department budgets and resources.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of materials management concepts, theories, and principles.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, purchasing, sourcing, and supplier performance management.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Ability to guide and influence internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to work in Billerica, Massachusetts, United States.
• Understanding of and compliance with hirify.global’ Standards of Business Conduct.
