Global Supplier Manager (Machining)

Salary: $109,750.00–$182,900.00 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop and refine the machining category and supply base strategy.
• Act as the primary business contact for strategically managed machining suppliers.
• Negotiate total cost of ownership, pricing, on-time delivery, lead times, customer satisfaction, and agility.
• Build, review, negotiate, execute, monitor, and update master supply agreements.
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
• Lead dual sourcing, resourcing, supplier identification, and new supplier introduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of supplier management experience in machining or a similar area.
• Experience developing supplier and supply chain strategies while handling tactical supplier issues.
• Experience managing machine shop contract manufacturers.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Certain positions may require U.S. person status due to ITAR or EAR-controlled goods and technologies.

Nice to have

• CPIM and/or APICS certification.
• Expertise with Oracle and/or SAP procurement and planning modules.
• Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, the semiconductor equipment industry.
