Software Engineer - Web and Marketing

Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom; hybrid with three days per week in the Glasgow office and residence within commuting distance required

What you will do

• Build and maintain responsive features for the hirify.global Pro storefront and business account portal using React and Next.js.
• Develop product catalog, purchasing, marketing landing page, campaign, trial signup, and conversion experiences.
• Create reusable components and content-driven experiences with Sanity CMS.
• Integrate customer-facing journeys with backend, subscription, Braze, and Salesforce services.
• Contribute to dealer discovery, store locator, account self-service, event tracking, accessibility, browser compatibility, and performance work.
• Participate in code reviews, releases, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with product, design, marketing, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Approximately two years of relevant software development experience or equivalent practical experience delivering web applications.
• Working proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
• Familiarity with Next.js or a comparable modern web framework and responsive component development.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and understanding data exchange between web applications and backend services.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging, automated testing, accessibility, and web performance fundamentals.
• Ability to work from the Glasgow office three days per week and authorization to work in the United Kingdom now and in the future; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sanity or another headless content management system.
• Exposure to Braze, lifecycle marketing integrations, commerce flows, account portals, lead capture, or trial signup experiences.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, customer data flows, AWS API Gateway, or Lambda.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools, CI/CD workflows, and cloud web hosting.
