AI Engineer (Frontend)

What you will do

• Build and operate the web client, semantic layer, and controls that allow AI agents to work safely inside enterprise software.
• Develop a React and TypeScript single-page application that presents streaming prose, generated views, and user actions.
• Ensure AI agents act only with explicit user consent and make their actions and reasoning visible.
• Own front-end architecture, the component system, and contracts with teams building the agent services.
• Move the interface toward Lit and Web Components while maintaining accessibility, performance, testing, and observability.
• Work across service boundaries and ship, operate, and support the product in production.

Requirements

• Production experience building and operating substantial single-page applications with strong TypeScript and React or Angular experience.
• Experience building language-model product surfaces with streaming, partial output, cancellation, retries, and uncertainty handling.
• Experience with component architecture, design systems, accessibility, performance optimization, automated testing, observability, and continuous delivery.
• Working knowledge of browser security, including iframe sandboxing, postMessage, Content Security Policy, and sanitizing untrusted content.
• Ability to work across the front-end and service boundary; willingness to write Go and read Python.
• Ability to document technical decisions through architecture decision records and protocol documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP, MCP Apps, AG-UI, A2UI, Lit, Web Components, shadow DOM, or custom elements.
• Experience with expression languages, compilers, data-driven platforms, data visualization, or mobile and progressive web applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, voice interfaces, or offline and poor-connectivity behavior.
• Experience in asset management, field service, manufacturing, or supply chain software.
