Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Camarillo, California, United States; site-based role with occasional travel to suppliers and other hirify.global sites, approximately 10%.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annual base salary, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead procurement execution, purchase order placement and expediting, supplier performance management, and escalation activities.
• Ensure material availability through daily shortage reviews, recovery plans, contingency planning, and production support.
• Own production scheduling, prioritization, short-term capacity balancing, replenishment, and safety stock execution.
• Manage excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational targets.
• Directly manage Procurement and Production Scheduling teams, including priorities, performance reviews, coaching, and cross-training.
• Manage supply chain KPIs, ERP/MRP process adoption, operational reporting, continuous improvement, S&OP execution, and new product material readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, production planning or scheduling, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years of experience supervising buyers, planners, or schedulers.
• Working knowledge of MRP logic, purchase order management, production scheduling, safety stock, inventory control, supplier performance, expediting, and shortage recovery.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to coordinate across Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service in a fast-paced operation.

Nice to have

• APICS/ASCM certification, such as CPIM or CSCP.
• Experience in diagnostics, life sciences, medical devices, or another regulated industry.
