Associate Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote within the U.S.

Salary: USD $125,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the reliability, scalability, and observability of production systems.
• Develop and maintain observability strategies for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on consistent service instrumentation.
• Monitor production systems, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and participate in incident response and on-call rotations using PagerDuty.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and build automation to reduce manual operational work.
• Support post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Bash, or similar programming and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, Linux/Unix systems, and networking fundamentals.
