Site Reliability Engineer (Blockchain)

Location: Hybrid (London) with up to 20 days remote work per year worldwide

What you will do

• Develop solutions to complex infrastructure problems involving reliability, latency, bandwidth, and security.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across the platform.
• Coordinate work across teams to ensure efficient execution.
• Centralize and reduce duplicated work streams across developer teams.
• Write tooling to automate and replace manual, repetitive tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high-caliber team.

Requirements

• Experience with containerization and service orchestration, including security best practices.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language; Golang, Python, and Bash are a plus.
• Proficiency with Linux internals, resource allocation, and networking.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Knowledge of modern monitoring tools like Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, and Telegraf.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hashicorp Nomad, Consul, Vault.
• Experience with Terraform, Saltstack, GitOps, Github Actions.
• Experience with Kafka and database management.
• Experience working in data centers.
• Knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
