DevSecOps Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote, United States; listed location is Madison, Wisconsin.

Salary: $125,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and operate secure infrastructure, cloud platforms, and identity systems for an enterprise application.
• Build infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm across AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams using transparent, open-source development practices and contribute across Python and TypeScript codebases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including substantial infrastructure, cloud, or platform work.
• Strong AWS and cloud architecture experience.
• Extensive FedRAMP experience.
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, including SSO/OIDC, SAML, and SCIM provisioning.
• Experience with test-driven development, automated unit testing, end-to-end testing, observability, and Python or TypeScript codebases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Keycloak or enterprise ICAM.
• Experience with FastAPI, Astro, or SvelteKit.
• Experience using AI coding agents and structuring repositories for them.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
