Senior Manager, Business Operations (Supply Chain & Operations)

What you will do

• Oversee supply and demand activities for multiple complex product lines, ensuring inventory, cost, and operational performance meet business objectives.
• Lead senior operations professionals and managers, including hiring, coaching, performance planning, and career development.
• Manage strategic demand and supply matching, transportation operations, carrier performance, shipment visibility, and exception management.
• Develop supply chain efficiencies, cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and operational policies.
• Lead trade compliance and complex cross-functional, cross-regional initiatives affecting the global supply chain.
• Coordinate with Operations, IT, Procurement, Finance, 3PL and distribution partners, suppliers, vendors, and carriers.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10+ years of related experience or 8–10 years of management experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems, managed transportation, 4PL operations, carrier management, and end-to-end FTL/TL, LTL, parcel, and intermodal transportation.
• Knowledge of load planning, consolidation, mode and routing optimization, transportation cost optimization, shipment visibility, POD and document management.
• Experience with EDI/API and ERP-WMS-TMS integrations, systemic and data exception troubleshooting, KPI/SLA governance, executive reporting, and corrective-action management.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, SAP applications, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
