Purchasing Specialist

What you will do

• Purchase products and manage order fulfillment to support business demand, inventory turns, and supplier delivery performance.
• Track purchase orders, shipping, delivery information, backlog updates, reporting, and supplier communications.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, provide quotes to sales, and support supplier and process improvements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transportation teams to ensure products are received and delivered on time.
• Manage non-conforming inventory, product disposition, inventory aging, stock rotation, and liquidations.
• Communicate order status and issue resolution to planners, sales, customer operations, and matrix teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of purchasing, order management, logistics, and related business practices.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, analyze situations, and develop solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments, management, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers.
