People & Culture Manager

Location: New York City, United States; on-site

Estimated base salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is a fast-growing startup expanding internationally after a $30M Series A and building its New York office as part of one global organization with a Munich-based People team.

What you will do

• Establish hirify.global’s local People & Culture function in New York as an extension of the Munich team.
• Own the NYC employee journey across recruiting, onboarding, engagement, performance, development, and offboarding.
• Lead end-to-end hiring for U.S. roles and help build a high-performing New York team.
• Support managers and employees with development, feedback, performance, and employee-related topics.
• Adapt global people initiatives to the U.S. market while maintaining consistency across both offices.
• Use employee insights and people data to improve the employee experience and strengthen collaboration between Munich and New York.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in People & Culture, HR, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or a related field.
• Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
• Strong recruiting experience with the ability to own critical searches end to end.
• Understanding of U.S. employment practices and when to involve external experts.
• Experience supporting managers and employees across performance, development, and engagement topics.
• Based in New York City and able to work closely with the team in person.
