VP of Strategic Finance (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid role with in-office requirements of 2 days per week

Annual base salary: $280,000–$310,000 USD, plus discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits.

hirify.global builds an end-to-end platform for developing, training, and deploying AI systems, combining developer-first software with large-scale compute infrastructure through its merger with Voltage Park.

What you will do

• Own the annual operating plan, long-range financial model, financial targets, and performance tracking.
• Evaluate capital allocation decisions involving GPUs, data centers, infrastructure expansion, and build-versus-buy-versus-lease options.
• Analyze unit economics, utilization, margins, customer profitability, pricing, and packaging across software and compute products.
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, executive reporting, fundraising models, and financing analyses.
• Lead financial integration across hirify.global and Voltage Park, including planning, reporting, and KPI alignment.
• Partner with technical and commercial leaders, assess corporate development opportunities, and build and develop the FP&A and strategic finance team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting, including 5+ years in senior finance leadership.
• Experience with capital-intensive businesses such as cloud infrastructure, data centers, telecom, or hardware, including capex, depreciation, utilization, and asset-backed financing.
• Fluency in SaaS and consumption-based revenue models, including forecasting, cohort analysis, and margin drivers.
• Ability to build sophisticated financial models, pressure-test assumptions, and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations.
• Experience with equity fundraising, debt financing, or M&A transactions at a venture-backed or growth-stage company.
• Executive presence and a track record of building finance teams and partnering with engineering, infrastructure, sales, and marketing leaders.
