Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite at a data center facility in Lisle, Illinois; Fort Worth, Texas; or Quincy, Washington, United States. Overnight and rotating shifts are required to support 24/7 operations.

Annual base salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD

What you will do

• Monitor data center systems through telemetry, dashboards, and alerting tools to identify anomalies and emerging issues.
• Diagnose Linux systems, network connectivity, and hardware health using command-line tools, logs, and diagnostic utilities.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and network interface errors.
• Triage and escalate incidents to hardware, network, and SRE teams with accurate summaries, logs, and telemetry findings.
• Create detailed tickets documenting diagnostic steps, findings, and system behavior.
• Analyze recurring alert patterns and recommend improvements to monitoring coverage and reliability.

Requirements

• Hands-on Linux experience, including command-line proficiency and system log analysis.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, ping, traceroute, netstat, and tcpdump.
• Ability to independently diagnose technical issues and use sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Clear technical communication and documentation skills.
• Availability for overnight and rotating shifts in a 24/7 onsite environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with HPC or GPU-based infrastructure.
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python.
