Network Engineering Intern (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada; on-site. Travel to data center sites 1–2 times is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Verify cabling and network links during live GPU cluster deployments.
• Write Python tooling to make deployments faster and less error-prone.
• Work with network engineers to bring up and validate high-performance cluster fabrics.
• Troubleshoot network issues methodically by isolating variables, testing, and documenting findings.
• Contribute code to the team repository and support its use on live clusters.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, IT, or network engineering; military communications, network, or cyber experience; or 2+ years of network or systems engineering/administration experience.
• Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts, and routing.
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python.
• Comfort working with the Linux command line.
• Methodical troubleshooting skills and willingness to travel to data center sites 1–2 times.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, or an equivalent certification.
• BGP or EVPN lab experience and exposure to Arista EOS, SONiC, or another data center network operating system.
• Git, Ansible, or NetBox experience.
• HPC or GPU cluster experience and familiarity with RDMA or RoCE concepts.
