Team Lead/Deployment Manager

Location: Remote within the United States, with approximately 30% CONUS travel required; position associated with Washington, DC.

Salary: $120,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead deployment of the Integrated Surveillance Towers program at remote U.S. border locations.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, opportunities, and contractor performance.
• Represent assigned projects with CBP, DHS, other government agencies, and public stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering, business management, aviation, government offices, and other stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
• Lead a deployment team of approximately seven subject-matter experts by delegating work, providing feedback, and maintaining a productive team environment.
• Coordinate project outreach and report team accomplishments and contract activities.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation required.
• Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, bachelor’s degree with 12+ years, or high school diploma with 25+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience deploying technology systems, managing construction, maintaining or repairing remote sensors, and/or performing civil or site design.
• Three to five years in a related team-lead role and one to two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of MD-102, NEPA, and the federal real estate clearance process, plus engineering and project management experience for DHS or DoD communications and sensor technology.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
