Supply Chain Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Build and scale the operational procurement and non-horticultural stock planning function.
• Lead stock availability planning across multiple sites while balancing service levels, waste, holding costs, and warehouse constraints.
• Develop automated supply chain and inventory tools, including spreadsheet-based solutions and AI workflows.
• Establish standardised processes, KPI frameworks, weekly performance reviews, and proactive inventory risk management.
• Coach and mentor stock planners, supporting the transition from manual execution to analytical decision-making.
• Manage inventory risks, third-party warehouse performance, supplier performance, peak periods, and new range launches.

Requirements

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or supply planning, including team leadership.
• Proven experience scaling supply chain operations and managing rapid SKU growth.
• Strong capability with G Suite and other platforms for building automated tools.
• Experience using AI to improve supply chain or operational impact.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Commercial and data-driven approach to inventory, margins, working capital, and cash flow.
