Senior Analyst (Trade Services)

Location: Birmingham, UK; hybrid working with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

What you will do

• Serve Trade Services customers across multiple product areas and deliver accurate, compliant customer support.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent recurring customer complaints and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, requests, and issues.
• Apply Anti-Money Laundering procedures relevant to Trade Services.
• Identify opportunities to remove waste, improve processes, and support digitisation through new technologies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the end-to-end guarantees lifecycle, including issuance, amendments, cancellations, and billing.
• Ability to learn and apply operational processes, customer journeys, controls, systems, and operational risk requirements.
• Strong customer focus, decision-making, critical thinking, and accountability for high-quality outcomes.
• Risk management capability and consistent application of controls and procedures.
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships across teams and business areas.

Nice to have

• Experience in Trade Services or a comparable operational environment.
• Experience with process improvement, digital tools, or emerging technologies.
• Experience handling domestic and international payments, including CHAPS and SWIFT.
