Senior Specialist Underwriter, Cyber & Tech

Location: London, with team members primarily in the office

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of large and complex primary-layer cyber and technology accounts.
• Meet with clients and brokers, support new business development, and communicate hirify.global’s value proposition in the London market.
• Help develop strategies for profitable growth across UK Cyber and Technology portfolios.
• Drive product updates and research based on market needs, claims activity, emerging trends, and company risk appetite.
• Collaborate with Cyber Risk Advisory, claims, multinational, captive, and client engagement teams on risk management, incident response, and cross-class opportunities.
• Contribute to thought leadership and complex risk transfer programs spanning multiple geographies.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong experience in Cyber or Technology Underwriting, Broking, or Claims.
• Good understanding of cyber and technology business models, underwriting methodology, and assumed risks.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent presentation, prioritization, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work primarily from the London office.
