Senior Operations Manager (EV Charging)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Cologne office, Germany, with regular travel across Germany, Switzerland and the wider DACH region, plus occasional travel to Amsterdam.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop the DACH field team, initially covering five Field Engineers and a Station Manager.
• Own day-to-day operations for German and Swiss charging stations, including preventive maintenance, reactive repairs and station quality.
• Maintain network uptime above 99% while improving safety, customer experience and operating costs.
• Coordinate contractors, service providers and infrastructure works across the station network.
• Manage station handovers from Construction to Field Operations and oversee spare-parts logistics with Supply Chain.
• Standardise best practices, improve processes and use operational data to support regional growth.

Requirements

• At least eight years of relevant operations experience.
• Experience scaling or professionalising operations in a growing market.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strategic and hands-on operational experience, including site work and understanding technical issues.
• Fluent German and English are required.
• Ability to travel regularly across the DACH region and occasionally to Amsterdam.
