What you will do

• Define and execute a global government affairs and advocacy strategy aligned with business and sustainability priorities.
• Develop policy positions and narratives while assessing regulatory developments and their business impact.
• Prepare the CEO, Chief Strategy & Technology Officer, and other senior leaders for external engagements and policy dialogues.
• Interpret legislative and regulatory developments across the EU, US, China, and other priority markets.
• Represent hirify.global with policymakers, regulators, trade associations, NGOs, and other external stakeholders.
• Maintain advocacy tracking and ensure compliance with lobbying, transparency, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory strategy, or a related field, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Experience shaping policy outcomes in highly regulated, international environments.
• Understanding of global regulatory landscapes and policy processes across major regions.
• Strong political and regulatory awareness, influencing ability, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex policy topics into relevant business context and exercise sound strategic judgement.
• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
