What you will do

• Define and execute a global government affairs and advocacy strategy aligned with business and sustainability priorities.
• Develop policy positions and narratives, assessing the impact of complex regulatory topics on company strategy.
• Prepare and support senior executives, including the CEO and CSTO, for high-level external engagements and policy dialogues.
• Interpret legislative and regulatory developments across key jurisdictions, including the EU, US, and China.
• Represent the company with policymakers, regulators, trade associations, and NGOs to build high-value networks.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable lobbying, transparency, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Around 10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or regulatory strategy, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Demonstrated success in shaping policy outcomes within highly regulated, international environments.
• Deep understanding of global regulatory landscapes and policy processes across major regions.
• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to translate complex policy topics into business context for senior stakeholders.
