Enterprise Integration Architect (Microservices)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems.
• Apply service decomposition, domain-driven design, and distributed data management patterns.
• Address resilience, observability, security, and maintainability across production systems.
• Design API, event-driven, and asynchronous messaging architectures.
• Lead architecture initiatives spanning multiple teams and support complex technology transformations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including several years in architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, domain-driven design, and distributed systems patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# and strong knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services.
• U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates may apply; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform engineering and internal developer platform construction.
• Familiarity with Istio, Linkerd, Envoy, or comparable service mesh technologies.
• Exposure to FinOps and large-scale cloud cost optimization.
• Public speaking, open-source contributions, or published technical writing.
• Experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements.
