Enterprise Architect — Automation & Integration Platforms

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and maintain the enterprise automation architecture strategy across ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and other platforms.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns, best practices, technology roadmaps, and governance for automation development.
• Evaluate platforms for automation use cases and ensure consistent API, data flow, integration, and security patterns while preventing platform sprawl.
• Review and approve solution designs, guide development teams, identify technical risks, and define mitigation strategies.
• Oversee testing, release management, rollback planning, production deployment, CI/CD support, and post-deployment reliability of automated workflows.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Process Owners, Developers, DevOps, security, and compliance teams; mentor developers and solution architects and lead architecture reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience architecting ServiceNow solutions, including Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and App Engine.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and Dataverse.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, including APIs, webhooks, middleware, and ESB/iPaaS tools.
• Strong understanding of security, identity, and governance frameworks across cloud platforms.
• Proven track record overseeing multiple concurrent automation projects through successful deployment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Architect, Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• TOGAF or another enterprise architecture framework certification.
• Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Background in ITSM, ERP, or large-scale digital transformation programs.
