HR Generalist (Lacey, WA)

Location: On-site in Lacey, Washington, United States. Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for a multiple-shift operation. Travel of up to 25% may be required within and outside the state.

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual, with bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Coach employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace issue resolution.
• Support local investigations, conduct exit interviews, provide management feedback, and represent the organization at unemployment hearings when needed.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection activities between Talent Acquisition and local management.
• Assess training needs, recommend development programs, and support effective employee onboarding.
• Administer job evaluations, compensation programs, salary and wage processes, and pay consistency initiatives.
• Support employment compliance, leave of absence processes, employee accommodations, and workers’ compensation administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of HR Generalist experience with knowledge of HR practices, legal rules, and regulations.
• Experience applying state employment laws to assess compliance issues.
• Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work onsite in Lacey, Washington, Monday–Friday, with flexibility for a multiple-shift operation.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
