Senior AWS Consultant

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate large-scale, secure, highly available AWS cloud platforms.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation for infrastructure and application workloads.
• Design and operate Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, compliance, monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Partner with application, security, and SRE teams to deliver resilient cloud-native solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous operational improvement for mission-critical production workloads.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience, including at least 3 years working with AWS in production environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
• Production experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation, plus CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the United States. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations, centralized governance, service mesh, eBPF-based observability, or zero-trust networking.
• Exposure to FinOps, well-architected cost optimization, and regulated workloads such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP.
• Familiarity with Go or PowerShell.
