Infrastructure Engineer (AWS)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States. Employment eligibility verification in the United States is required.

Salary: $170,000–$260,000 per year. The role may also include performance-based bonuses and an initial sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.

What you will do

• Engineer, administer, automate, and sustain shared cloud and DevOps platform services.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based services supporting multiple customer mission teams.
• Provision, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, security groups, and load balancing.
• Operate containerized services and workloads using Docker and/or Podman.
• Configure and troubleshoot CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Develop reusable automation, deployment procedures, configuration patterns, and integrations with source control, artifact repositories, identity, security, monitoring, logging, and ticketing systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, or the ability to obtain CI Poly.
• 4–10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform operations, cloud infrastructure, or infrastructure engineering.
• Production or mission-environment administration and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, containerized workloads, and CI/CD pipelines built with GitLab and/or Jenkins.
• Experience with Git-based source-control workflows and automation using Bash and/or Python.
• Authorization to work in the United States and completion of employment eligibility verification are required.
