What you will do

• Lead technical strategy, operational excellence, and delivery across neighboring domains in the software architecture.
• Lead multi-team, multi-system projects through timely, high-quality delivery.
• Design maintainable software systems with clear documentation, monitoring, and operational maturity.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across divisions and departments.
• Support mentorship programs and help experienced engineers develop less-experienced engineers.
• Identify emerging technologies, useful engineering patterns, and opportunities to improve how work gets done.

Requirements

• 9+ years of enterprise software development experience using a modern language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems with a microservices architecture.
• Professional experience running software systems on a public-cloud provider.
• Experience leading an engineering team as a technical lead or manager, with strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, organizational, and teamwork skills.
