Lead, Plant Finance Business Partner (Manufacturing Finance)

Location: Based at the Bedford, MA plant with periodic travel to the Reno, NV and Danbury, CT plants

Salary: $110,000–$142,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Act as the finance lead and strategic business partner for the Bedford, Reno, and Danbury manufacturing plants.
• Lead annual operating plans, budgets, monthly forecasts, long-range planning, and financial performance reviews.
• Own plant cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, absorption accounting, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, operational dashboards, KPIs, inventory controls, and working capital initiatives.
• Evaluate capital expenditures using ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analyses.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering on cost reduction, productivity, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including significant manufacturing, operations finance, or cost accounting experience.
• Experience supporting plant operations and manufacturing leadership teams across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial planning.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools is preferred.
• Ability to work from the Bedford, MA plant and travel periodically to Reno, NV and Danbury, CT.

• Experience managing plant P&L performance and operational KPIs.
