Global SEPA & SEPA Direct Debits Architect (Fintech)

Location: CDR (Amsterdam - Cedar), Netherlands; hybrid working

A large financial services organization developing global payment, settlement, and open banking services for internal and external customers.

What you will do

• Design and evolve a globally scalable SEPA and SEPA Direct Debits payments platform.
• Maintain and enhance the existing technology stack and create reference architectures.
• Review and approve technical designs in collaboration with development teams.
• Deliver architecture roadmaps and translate policies and requirements into technical solutions.
• Organize workshops and presentations to support decision-making.
• Manage stakeholders across departments and countries while contributing to global architecture standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an architect.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments, such as financial institutions.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiences.
• Ability to build collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders and work independently with limited guidance.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of IT architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, service management processes, and agile ways of working.
