Senior AI Tech Architect (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Define technology strategies, architecture solutions, and digital concepts for capital markets and investment banking clients.
• Evaluate and coach client technology teams while working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Design and support implementation of enterprise-grade, scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.
• Own delivery of a specific project module and develop the related technical concepts.
• Contribute to the Financial Services Practice and support case teams in building the BCG brand in Capital Markets.
• Work actively on client-site technical implementations and address complex technology challenges.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of IT Architecture experience in technology consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking.
• Hands-on experience with trading platforms such as Nasdaq, Calypso, FIS Murex, Bloomberg, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of trade and settlement processes and technologies including FIX, SWIFT, and FpML across multiple asset classes.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, event-driven architecture, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and cloud platforms.
• University degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field with above-average academic performance.
• For candidates based in the Netherlands: fluent English is required; Dutch is highly desirable.
