Lead AI Tech Architect (Capital Markets)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; willingness to travel to client sites is required.

What you will do

• Define technology strategies and architecture solutions for capital markets clients.
• Own the technical architecture and delivery of key project workstreams.
• Drive architectural decisions and align solutions with business objectives and technology standards.
• Guide project teams in developing robust, scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
• Evaluate and coach client technology teams while collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to the Financial Services Practice, particularly capital and investment banking.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of IT architecture experience in technology consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking.
• Hands-on experience with trading platforms such as Nasdaq, Calypso, FIS Murex, Bloomberg, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of trade and settlement processes across front office, middle office, and back office, including FIX, SWIFT, or FpML.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures, including microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, event-driven architecture, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with cloud platforms and high-frequency trading or data-processing environments.
• University degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, with above-average academic performance.
