Senior Product Designer I (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote in the UK or France; hybrid and flexible work from anywhere in France, with some flexibility to work across Europe. The role is associated with Paris, France.

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per year, based on experience and value.

What you will do

• Own complex clinical design challenges from discovery through delivery.
• Design intuitive, accessible experiences for clinical decision-making, care documentation, and complex workflows.
• Balance innovation with clinical safety by identifying risks and designing appropriate safeguards.
• Use AI-assisted tools for research, exploration, prototyping, and iteration.
• Prototype solutions in Figma, functional prototypes, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Facilitate collaboration among Product, Engineering, Clinical Safety, and healthcare professionals through research and usability testing.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing clinical systems or similarly high-risk software with significant consequences for errors.
• Experience working with safety, risk, or regulatory specialists.
• Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills, with a portfolio showing complex workflows, accessible interfaces, and shipped products.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to improve research, exploration, prototyping, or delivery.
• Experience conducting user research, working through ambiguity, and using evidence to make product decisions.
• Ability to independently lead complex design work, facilitate collaboration, and influence decisions beyond the immediate workstream.

Nice to have

• Experience designing EHRs, EMRs, clinical decision-support systems, or AI-powered healthcare products.
• Experience designing AI-powered workflows, automation, or intelligent decision-support experiences.
• First-hand experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
