Presales Solutions Architect - Enterprise Networking

Location: United States, Texas; remote Home Office setup

Estimated annual pay range: $180,000–$250,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess enterprise network infrastructure maturity across campus, branch, wireless, WAN, and network operations.
• Design and present target-state architectures for routing, switching, campus LAN, wireless, branch, WAN/SD-WAN, high availability, access control, segmentation, and infrastructure integration.
• Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations for enterprise networking solutions.
• Translate complex networking concepts, including routing, segmentation, RF design, application-aware routing, and QoS, into business-oriented value propositions.
• Develop reference architectures, battle cards, competitive analyses, technical briefs, and vendor evaluation frameworks.
• Evaluate networking technologies, enable engineering and sales teams, identify new opportunities, and support networking practice growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in network engineering, enterprise network architecture, or infrastructure engineering, including hands-on routing, switching, and campus or WAN design and implementation.
• Experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting in networking or infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in enterprise solution design, systems integration, security, data privacy, compliance, APIs, microservices, containerization, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience presenting networking topics to customers, internal teams, or professional groups, plus exposure to at least two adjacent areas such as enterprise wireless, SD-WAN, network access control and segmentation, or network automation.
