Cloud Strategy Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Design multi-cloud strategies, reference architectures, and platform capabilities across AWS, Azure, GCP, and selectively OCI.
• Build portability approaches, abstraction layers, federated identity, cross-cloud networking, and platform offerings for product teams.
• Architect cloud networking, identity, and security capabilities across multiple providers.
• Design infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code foundations spanning different clouds.
• Lead multi-cloud architecture initiatives and communicate trade-offs between portability and cloud-native capabilities to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and authorized to work as a U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, EAD Holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.
• At least 8 years of experience in cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on architecture experience with at least two major cloud providers, including deep knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, federated identity, SSO, Kubernetes, container platforms, and managed cloud services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, multiple cloud certifications, and experience leading multi-cloud architecture initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crossplane, Pulumi, or Terraform CDK abstraction platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-agnostic observability platforms.
• Experience with large-scale cloud-to-cloud migrations or regulated-industry multi-cloud mandates.
• Public talks or writing on multi-cloud architecture.
