FP&A Analyst

What you will do

• Partner with Aftersales commercial and operations teams on performance, pricing, margin, order intake, revenue, and KPIs.
• Prepare service and consumables forecasts linked to the installed base, contract renewals, and consumables usage trends.
• Support monthly management reporting, budget planning, strategic planning, and variance analysis.
• Report on service-team labour utilisation, resource capacity, contract renewals, warranty conversion, and installed-base metrics.
• Present financial data and insights to management and explain key performance drivers.
• Maintain ERP and Salesforce data consistency while improving and automating reporting.

Requirements

• Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, or willing to begin an accountancy qualification.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence working with non-finance colleagues.
• Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and curiosity about business performance drivers.
• Ability to work on-site at the Cambridge location.

Nice to have

• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting.
• Exposure to service, subscription, or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Experience creating financial dashboards and reports with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
