Senior Lead, Software Engineering Specialist Workday Benefits (Workday)

Location: Remote in Brazil; Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. Working hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday Benefits solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and supportable Workday configurations.
• Support production Workday environments, including troubleshooting and live configuration changes.
• Advise on best practices, security, reporting impacts, and downstream effects across benefits, payroll, Time and Absence.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, integration partners, and technical teams on global Hire-to-Retire solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with deep Benefits expertise.
• Experience independently delivering Workday solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Strong understanding of benefits and payroll-related business processes and downstream impacts.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country Workday deployments.
• Knowledge of Workday business processes, security considerations, and reporting impacts related to Time and Absence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in an enterprise cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, or Projects.
• Experience working in a matrixed or global team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field.
