Workday Integrations & Reporting Developer (Workday)

Location: Hybrid in Herndon, Virginia, or Richardson, Texas; on-site 2–3 days per week. Candidates should live within approximately 50 miles of the office.

Base salary: $112,900–$164,300 per year, plus bonus plans and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy inbound and outbound Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transforms, XSLT, Workday Studio, RaaS, and Boomerang.
• Develop custom Workday reports, dashboards, data extracts, advanced reports, and calculated fields.
• Monitor 20–30 integrations daily, especially payroll and benefits integrations, and resolve critical issues within 24 hours.
• Implement monitoring and alerting, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and respond to integration errors.
• Gather requirements with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Manage testing, documentation, regression testing, release activities, and Workday technology roadmap contributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of related experience, including 2 years of Workday integration development.
• Expertise in Workday HCM and working knowledge of benefits, compensation, recruiting, payroll, absence, time, and security.
• Experience with Workday US and UK environments, Workday implementation projects, and web services or APIs including WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards.
• Knowledge of Workday security practices, Integration System Users, Integration System Security Groups, calculated fields, ITGC policies, and controls.
• Ability to work on-site 2–3 days per week in Herndon, VA, or Richardson, TX, and authorization to work in the United States.

• Experience with Workday Orchestrate.
• Experience integrating Workday with Oracle Fusion ERP.
