Workday Architect (Workday)

Location: Remote within the United States; Denver, Colorado is also listed. Occasional annual travel for team events, approximately 5–10%.

Base salary: $140,000–$190,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design and govern the Workday architecture, including business processes, security, tenant configuration, and integrations.
• Lead module implementations, mergers and acquisitions integrations, major upgrades, and tenant consolidations.
• Own integrations with payroll, benefits, time tracking, finance, and other downstream systems using Workday integration tools and web services.
• Establish configuration standards, naming conventions, governance practices, and architectural review processes.
• Evaluate bi-annual Workday releases, advise on feature adoption, and translate business strategy into system roadmaps.
• Mentor administrators and analysts while serving as the final escalation point for complex configuration, integration, data, and break/fix issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of Workday experience, including 3 or more years in an architect or lead technical design role.
• Deep expertise across multiple Workday modules, with HCM required; Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Projects are preferred.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, and Workday SOAP/REST web services.
• Strong knowledge of Workday security groups, business process configuration, and calculated fields, plus experience leading implementations or major tenant transformations.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR and EAR regulations.
