Full Stack Engineer (AI, ID Scanning)

Location: Tampere, Finland; other location: Zurich, Switzerland. Flexible office, hybrid, or home working is available, with remote work support across Switzerland, Finland, Poland, the UK, Italy, and Germany. Candidates must be eligible to work in the hiring location.

What you will do

• Build and run Python backend services powering identity verification solutions.
• Develop TypeScript web interfaces and internal tooling from prototype to production.
• Design APIs and data models while owning reliability, monitoring, and security.
• Connect on-device computer vision products with cloud services in collaboration with C++, iOS, Android, and ML engineers.
• Use AI coding tools to prototype quickly and harden solutions for production.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience building production web applications across backend and frontend.
• Strong Python skills and good JavaScript or TypeScript skills.
• Experience with a major cloud provider and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Security-minded approach with attention to privacy and sensitive data.
• Regular, thoughtful use of AI coding assistants.
• Eligibility to work in the hiring location.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Vue, or another modern frontend framework.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience integrating LLM or VLM APIs into products.
• Exposure to identity, security, or compliance domains.
• Interest in mobile development, C++, or on-device software.
