Manufacturing / Industrialization Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the introduction of new products and processes into serial production, including work instructions, operator training, and ramp-up support.
• Drive standardization, continuous improvement, process optimization, and productivity initiatives across manufacturing.
• Plan and evaluate prototype and pre-production builds to support smooth transitions into serial manufacturing.
• Investigate production issues using structured root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Coordinate engineering and production changes across departments, suppliers, and locations.
• Support the development and planning of production test equipment and test benches.

Requirements

• Degree or technical qualification in Industrial, Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrialization, process, or production engineering, preferably in a high-tech or complex manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, product introduction, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to independently own projects through completion.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience or personal interest in drones, electronics, model building, robotics, 3D printing, or maker projects.
• Hands-on project documentation including photos, GitHub links, videos, or drawings.
