What you will do

• Assist in qualifying elastomers, adhesives, sealants, and composite materials for aerospace applications.
• Coordinate with obsolescence management to identify suitable material replacements.
• Connect design departments and gather engineering requirements for application-specific material solutions.
• Manage test campaigns and report test results.
• Manage and analyze large datasets across platforms to support digitalization.
• Support the development of digital visualization tools and cross-platform integration.

Requirements

• Completed degree or comparable qualification in materials, aerospace, or mechanical engineering.
• Initial experience in aerospace or in organic and composite material and process qualification.
• Knowledge of engineering requirements, composite manufacturing processes, adhesives, and structural sealants.
• Experience with databases and data analysis is desirable; programming knowledge in AppScript, C++, Java, or Python.
• Very good German and English, written and spoken, are required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with willingness to travel occasionally.
