Senior Systems Integration Engineer (UAV Battery Systems)

Location: On-site in Munich or Gilching, Germany; occasional travel for customer support and field troubleshooting is required.

What you will do

• Lead the integration of battery and charging systems across software, electronic hardware, and mechanical designs in customer UAV platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical, and validation teams during integration, testing, and validation of series products.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in the field while supporting customers and external partners.
• Translate field and customer feedback into recommendations for system and hardware improvements.
• Troubleshoot and perform teardowns of battery packs.
• Own customer-facing documentation and diagnostic tools as a primary technical point of contact.

Requirements

• Proven experience in systems integration involving software, electronics, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of C code for embedded systems, 3D CAD tools, and digital communication protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-support skills.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical components and battery packs.
• Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing priorities, and travel occasionally for on-site customer support.
