Test & System Engineer – Quadruped (Robotics)

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and execute System Integration Tests on quadruped robots.
• Verify sensors, actuators, control functions, communication interfaces, performance, reliability, and safety.
• Run smoke and sanity tests as quality gates before integration testing.
• Identify, classify, document, and track defects using Jira and related test management tools.
• Develop test benches, test rigs, and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
• Support root-cause investigations, acceptance testing, compliance validation, and continuous testing-process improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in system, hardware, or integration testing.
• Knowledge of robotic system architectures, including sensors, actuators, control systems, and communication interfaces.
• Experience with black-box, white-box, regression, performance, and integration testing, plus Jira, Xray, or TestRail.
• Git and version-control experience, Python skills for test automation, and practical experience with oscilloscopes or logic analyzers.
• English language skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS 2 or comparable robotics middleware.
• Testing experience with robotic, automation, automotive, or complex mechatronic systems.
• Knowledge of GitLab CI, Jenkins, compliance testing, EMC testing, or functional safety validation.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop systems.
