(Senior) Design Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design and develop fluid hardware, including high-pressure and cryogenic pipes, manifolds, fittings, storage systems, and support structures.
• Define test plans, document qualification activities, and oversee hardware test execution.
• Integrate designs into launch vehicle assemblies and manage interfaces across engineering, production, and assembly.
• Implement and maintain engineering change requests, product requirements, and verification activities.
• Prepare product development roadmaps, timelines, design reviews, risk assessments, and trade-off studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in hardware design and development.
• Proficiency with NX, TeamCenter, SolidWorks, or similar design engineering tools, plus experience with PLM and PDM.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, engineering standards, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Organized, proactive, resilient, detail-oriented, and able to deliver against project deadlines.
• Fluent English language skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with launch vehicle design, manufacturing, or assembly of structural and fluid systems.
• Experience designing aerospace hydraulic system components and working with tubes, piping, and machined components.
• Hands-on hardware production or assembly experience.
• Proficient German and knowledge of lean production.
