Software Engineer II (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Build, operate, and scale production services for the Microsoft 365 Outlook add-in.
• Improve service scalability, reliability, and the user experience across Outlook desktop and web on Windows and Mac.
• Research security vulnerabilities and implement security measures for sensitive data protection.
• Use production and product data to guide roadmap decisions and improve the Human Security Layer.
• Ship code continuously through CI/CD and collaborate with senior and staff engineers on complex problems.

Requirements

• Production experience building and running services in Python.
• Experience with AWS and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code.
• Sound technical judgment and a security-first mindset.
• Ability to work from Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript or React.
• Experience working with data and infrastructure at scale.
