Cloud Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom. The UK hub is located in Bristol.

What you will do

• Plan, write, improve, and test cloud security labs, challenges, and online learning content.
• Design emulated AWS, Azure, and GCP environments that simulate hacking and defense scenarios.
• Create practical exercises, theory content, questions, and gamified learning experiences.
• Research cloud security topics and turn technical findings into concise content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work with Engineering, Content, and Product teams on new projects, products, and deployment approaches.

Requirements

• Proven experience with production-critical infrastructure and cloud environments with a security focus.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes, including cloud security and identity and access management.
• Experience with cloud SIEMs such as Microsoft Sentinel or Google SecOps, plus CSPM or CNAPP tooling.
• Solid Docker and Kubernetes experience, familiarity with serverless technologies, and knowledge of networking, firewalls, monitoring, and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment using Terraform, and with cloud infrastructure, IT services, networking, and security.
• Background in DevSecOps, cloud security, or SRE, with a focus on availability, reliability, and automation; ability to explain complex subjects through examples and analogies.
