What you will do
- Deploy and configure endpoint, email, web, and network protection products in the Threat Research Lab.
- Investigate phishing emails, malicious URLs, malware, vulnerabilities, and threat actor tools and techniques.
- Analyse large datasets to identify threat trends across regions, industries, and business segments.
- Triage, investigate, and respond independently to alerts from the email security platform.
- Provide threat intelligence to internal departments and communicate findings to customers and external stakeholders.
- Conduct independent research and contribute to external-facing threat laboratory content, including blog posts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years of experience, or master’s degree or equivalent with 1 year of experience.
- Experience with indicators of compromise, reverse engineering, threat campaign tracking, and malicious URL and phishing email analysis.
- Knowledge of malware analysis, including isolated malware analysis virtual machines, file-format identification, and basic static and dynamic analysis.
- Experience working in customer-facing environments and triaging complex customer queries.
- Ability to analyse threat patterns, solve complex problems, communicate threat knowledge, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Python automation experience.
- Experience with databases such as SQL or MQL.
