Field Application Engineer II

What you will do

• Develop technical sales account penetration strategies and present products and technologies to current and potential customers.
• Support customer and supplier design reviews and identify requirements from the system level through individual components.
• Collaborate with design, production, engineering, sales, and supplier teams to solve customer design challenges.
• Track major design opportunities from concept through production and support design wins and sales growth.
• Create technical presentations and sales tools, provide product and application training, and advise internal and external customers.
• Research industry trends, manage products across their lifecycles, and maintain required technical certifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Understanding of customer needs, product technologies, design processes, competition, and product lifecycles.
• Ability to work independently with assigned accounts and territories while collaborating with internal teams and maintaining direct client contact.
• Ability to analyze sales problems, develop technical solutions, and negotiate within defined parameters.
