Customer Engineer-DDP/CMP/IMP (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Hefei, China; on-site work required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques to assess equipment issues and implement solutions with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with customers and senior engineers to understand process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Communicate directly with customers and travel approximately 20% of the time.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters; basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to meet all on-site, safety, environmental, and clean-room requirements.
