Senior Specialist, Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Camden, Arkansas, United States; on-site factory support required

What you will do

• Model factory operations using process flows, value stream maps, Pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings.
• Analyze resource utilization, throughput constraints, labor performance, capacity, and manpower requirements.
• Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and theory of constraints methods to improve cost, quality, delivery, safety, and efficiency.
• Develop factory layouts, work-cell designs, simulations, infrastructure proposals, and investment roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional projects involving production contracts, new product integration, obsolescence, factory performance, and growth.
• Improve factory safety and ergonomics while collaborating with operators, specialists, peers, and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience or education in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management, business, or supply chain management.
• Strong communication, technical reporting, presentation, teamwork, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with factory layout, work-cell optimization, simulation modeling, and capacity analysis, preferably Siemens Plant Simulation.
• Experience with CAD software, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, project management, and change management.
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.
